Your garage opener is an important piece of equipment, after all without it you cannot open or close your garage door. Here at Gulliver we carry openers from Liftmaster, Chamberlain or Genie, and will come out and repair, install or replace your current opener.
The springs in your garage door work under a lot of pressure, as such they will break when facing frequent use. We never recommend an individual to try and replace one, as this task can be very dangerous when performed by someone without the necessary tools and experience.

The two different types of springs used by your garage door are torsion and extension springs. Torsion springs are generally found above the closed door on the torsion shaft, and extension springs are usually found above the horizontal tracks on either side of the garage door.
